Con Law: Avoiding...or Beating...the Scam of the Century (The Real Student's Guide to Law School and the Legal Profession)

I was contacted by Charles Cooper recently, who has co-authored, along with Thane Messinger - yes, that Thane Messinger, the guy who has published or written many of the law school guides in print over the past decade - a new book about the law school scam called Con Law: Avoiding...or Beating...the Scam of the Century (The Real Student's Guide to Law School and the Legal Profession).

I'm still in the middle of reading it, but I just wanted to put it out there. I plan on reviewing it here properly when I'm done, but so far there's a lot of meat on its bones and it's taking a while to get through - over 100K in the word department, so by no means a quick read (although it seems to be a fairly light read, but in a good way). Not having reached the end, I'm not in a position to recommend it at present, but first impressions?  At $2.99, it's a bargain.

Watch this space for more details.

  1. Wow! What a description on the Amazon page!

I bet the book will create a lot of controversy.
